Policies

Clear, fair policies for all our students. Please read carefully before enrolling.

Terms & Conditions

Enrolment

By submitting an application form, you agree to the terms and conditions of enrollment with SteelExtreme Fitness Academy. A place on the course is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and you have received written confirmation from the academy.

Course Fees

Course fees must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment plan. A deposit is required to secure your place. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments prior to or during the course. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in suspension of access to course materials.

Refund Policy

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable. They secure your place on the course and contribute towards administrative and setup costs.

Course Fees

If you wish to withdraw from the course, written notice must be provided. Refunds for course fees (excluding deposit) may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the stage of the course and circumstances. No refunds are available once the course has been completed or the majority of materials accessed.

Course Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the Academy cancels a course, all fees paid (including deposit) will be refunded in full. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by students (e.g. travel or accommodation).

Attendance & Conduct

Practical Attendance

Attendance at the in-person practical weekend is mandatory for completion of the course and assessment. If you are unable to attend, you must notify us in advance. Alternative dates may be offered subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times, both online and during in-person sessions. Disruptive or unprofessional behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund.

Academic Integrity

All submitted work must be your own. Plagiarism or cheating in assessments will result in disqualification and no certification will be issued.

Privacy & Data Protection

Data Collection

We collect personal data provided in your application form for the purpose of enrolment, certification, and course administration. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Malta’s Data Protection Act.

Data Sharing

Your data may be shared with our awarding organisation (Active IQ) and professional body (CIMSPA) for the purpose of certification and registration. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at academy@steelextremefitness.com.

Assessment & Certification

Assessment Requirements

To achieve certification, students must complete all online theory assessments and the in-person practical assessment to the required standard. Additional assessment opportunities may be provided if the standard is not met on the first attempt.

Certification

Upon successful completion, you will receive an Active IQ certificate. Certification is subject to full payment of course fees and meeting all assessment requirements.

Reasonable Adjustments

We are committed to providing equal access to our courses. If you have a disability or learning need that requires reasonable adjustments, please notify us at the time of enrolment so we can discuss support options.
